Amazon Shopping 32.13.2.100 for Android

Amazon Shopping 32.13.2.100 is Amazon's official shopping app for Android, published by Amazon Mobile LLC. You can download Amazon Shopping for Android from Google Play to search products, order, track parcels and manage returns from your phone.

What the app does

The app brings the Amazon store to the phone in a form that is often quicker than the website. You search or scan, compare offers from Amazon and third-party sellers, read reviews and pay with the details saved in your account. After ordering, the app becomes the place to follow the delivery, change the address when possible, start a return and contact support. Notifications tell you when a parcel ships, is out for delivery or has arrived. Your cart, wish lists and order history are shared with the website, so you can start on the phone and finish on a computer. The app works with your local Amazon store; the choice of goods, delivery options and prices depend on the country. Amazon's own services, such as its streaming and reading apps, are separate apps, while the shopping app focuses on buying.

Who it suits

• Regular Amazon customers who want delivery updates on the phone.
• People who compare prices in a physical shop and want to check Amazon quickly.
• Anyone who manages returns and orders on the go.

Who may not need it

• Occasional buyers who are happy with the website in a browser.
• Users with very little storage, since the app is fairly large.
• People in countries without a local Amazon store, where choice and delivery are limited.

How to install it

1. Install the app from Google Play; check that the developer is Amazon.
2. Sign in with your Amazon account or create one.
3. Choose your country and language in the settings if they are wrong.
4. Allow notifications if you want delivery updates.

Requirements

An Android phone or tablet with internet access; Google Play shows whether your device is supported. The package is about 110.86 MB according to catalogue data.

Account safety

Install only from Google Play or Amazon's own store. Fake "Amazon" messages with links to log in are a common phishing trick, so open the app directly instead of following links in SMS or email. Turn on two-step verification in your Amazon account settings, and never share one-time codes with anyone who calls claiming to be Amazon support.

Price

The app is free. You pay for your purchases and, depending on the order and your account, for delivery.

Tips

Check who the seller is before ordering: goods sold and shipped by third parties can have different return rules. Use the order page to keep track of return deadlines.

Pros and cons

• Pro: orders, tracking and returns in one place.
• Pro: synced with the website.
